JERRY & KATHERINE ADCOCK ANNUAL HOT DOG ROAST
My bride aka Joyce and myself Mickey Porter were invited to Jerry &
Katherine Adcock's annual hot dog roast scheduled for October 14, 2023
starting at 5:00 PM and we were able to attend.
Jerry and Katherine purchased their current home in June 2020 consisting
of 10.5 acres and have done major renovations to the inside of their
home and also the outside of the property as the pixs taken will
manifest itself.
Sitting inside this screened in deck gives a wonderful view,
especially early morning and at sunset!
FIRE PIT AREA
I believe Jerry told me this area use to be an overgrown pool and he
did a wonderful job of landscaping it.
JERRY AND HIS WOODWORKING SHOP
Jerry is multi-talented and has completed many woodworking projects
over the decades,
but I believe his expertise is definitely in finishing and refinishing
furniture!

POND PIXS
Our Lord willing of course, come Spring next year I want to drop some
popping bugs in the water and also watch the Gonzales grand kids catch
fish as well. I don't think our only grand daughter Lily Gonzales
has ever fished!
MAIL BOX
I was impressed with his mail box with the horse drawn sickle mower
which has a unique story behind it. While cutting and moving bushes behind
his barn, he heard a metallic sound and found this horse drawn sickle
mower and a horse drawn hay rake hidden in the brush/bushes, of which he has the hay rake positioned on
the other side of the pond.
It reminds me of the Redneck story, where a Redneck was cutting his
grass and found a car he didn't know he had,
grin if you must!

Adcock, Nick, Noah and Leo Hrbolich, James Griffin, Ralph Coble, Haywood
Newton, Boyce Adcock, Dillon and Becka, Larry & Jean Mellen, Harvey

Now that is a fire!
I snuck
in a pix of Joyce Porter aka "my bride."
In closing, we all had a fantastic time. As I like to post at
every opportunity on this website, "Two of
the Greatest Ships that ever Sailed, Friendship and Fellowship"
and we certainly had prevailing winds today!
A special Thank You to
Jerry and Katherine for inviting my bride and myself and they both were
excellent hosts and enjoyed meeting the other guests invited, etc..
