KAREN HORNBACK'S SURPRISE 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Karen Hornback celebrated her 50th birthday at the
Wadesboro Church of God
fellowship hall on November 5, 2017. Joel Hornback had the Ladies
Ministries of the Church cater the party starting at 1 PM after our morning
worship service. I believe Karen's birthday is actually on the 8th,
but could be wrong.My bride and myself were invited to attend, however my
bride was feeling poorly and unable to attend our morning worship service
and the birthday party. It is my normal protocol to have the ole
antiquated Canon 30D 35mm DSLR camera close by and captured the event
digitally.

The invited guests, family, friends, Karen and Joel Hornback arrived and
Sister Abee pined some type of flower to her apparel.

Karen and Joel with a good grin going and I do believe Karen was
definitely surprised and a wonder Joel could keep the surprise birthday
party hidden, since it is difficult to hide such things from the bride aka
spouse.....grin if you must!

While taking pixs, I
noticed there were quite a few of those dead Presidents on those green backs
Karen had in the Birthday Cards!
In closing, this was a fantastic birthday party and the Ladies Ministries prepared a
wonderful meal. A special Thank You to Joel Hornback for inviting my
bride and myself. I certainly did not hold back from loading my plate
up with those good vittles.
It was great to meet some of Karen and Joel
Hornback's family and friends and wish Karen many more birthday's to come.
The Friendship and Fellowship was awesome and as I say at every opportunity,
"Two of the Greatest Ships that ever Sailed,
Friendship and Fellowship."
