LILY DANIELLE GONZALES 1ST BIRTHDAY
Our only granddaughter,
Lily Danielle Gonzales celebrated her first birthday on March 6, 2018 and
she has been a wonderful blessing to us. To quote Psalms 127:3
Lo,
children [are] an heritage of the LORD:
[and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.It is tragic that the leaders
of our country and individuals have yielded to
Demonic spirits and allowed the murders, Yes
I said murder of
innocent unborn babies
(abortion), which is an abomination in the
eyes of God for sure! Man rules, but God overrules! There
will come a day of
God's judgment for each and everyone of us!
As with all our kids and grand kids, it has been a pleasure, (sometimes with
heartaches and pain) which is part of life's struggle, to watch them
grow into adults, each being different with their own special
personalities, talents, abilities and traits. It would definitely be a dull world if we
all looked alike and thought alike!
BACK TO THE BIRTHDAY GIRL
Lily's Mother, Lisa Dianne invited us for some cake and ice cream and of
course the ole Canon 30D DSLR camera was close at hand.
I had a couple errands to complete which consisted of getting tax documents
to the CPA and topping off the gas tank on our car and was running a little
late. When we arrived at Lisa's home, Lily was in a very cheerful mood
and according to Lisa, had been that way the entire day which is a good
thing.

I had to grin at the above Walmart cake spelling, but it served its purpose....it tasted
real good with Vanilla Ice Cream.
This small cake was Lily's cake too.

I took several pixs, but will only post a few of them here, since a
picture is worth a thousand words.
Just wait, it gets better; Yes I am grinning too.
After the cake demolition by Lily, it was time for Lily to get a quick
bath in the sink with a fresh change of clothes.
The camera pre-flash captured my bride with her eyes closed, my bad for not
checking the pix out and getting another one.
In closing, Lily had a great 1st birthday and it was a treat to watch her
enjoy tasting the cake and painting her face with the icing/frosting and as
they say.
"It was the icing on the cake."
In a couple weeks, we plan to make our monthly pilgrimage to the
Pizza Inn
in Rockingham, NC to celebrate both Lily and Xander's birthday and hopefully
get the East Coast Grandboys to join us along with their mother.
