LILY AND XANDER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
Our youngest and only
Granddaughter, Lily Danielle Gonzales had her 1st birthday on
March 6, 2018. Xander McKnight Gonzales had his 9th birthday on March
21, 2018 and we decided earlier to celebrate both birthdays at the Pizza Inn
in Rockingham, NC on March 24, 2018 at 3:00 P.M.
Those attending were as follows: Lisa Gonzales, Lily Gonzales, Xander
Gonzales, Laura Porter, Travis Lee Huneycutt, Trevor Lane Huneycutt, Joyce
aka my bride and yours truly William Porter.
I picked up Lisa, Lilly and Xander around 2:40 P.M., at their home in
Lilesville, NC and running about 10 minutes late. We arrived at the
Pizza Inn in Rockingham, NC around 3:10 P.M. and Laura, Travis and Trevor
were already there and had a table reserved.
I have pixs archived on this website of the
Pizza Inn,
therefore did not take any pix of the place other than the party folks.
Our waitress was Jada. She promptly took our drink order and any special
pizza requests after we were seated.
Jada gave us outstanding service and a pleasure to be around!
I fixed
my bride a salad and The Pizza Inn salad bar has sliced boiled eggs
available and is a special treat that my bride enjoys on her salad, of which
many restaurants do not offer sliced boiled eggs on their salad bar.
She prefers Ranch Dressing, whereas I like Thousand Island Dressing.

My bride ordered us Pepperoni and Cheese, Loaded Baked Potato and a
Monster pizza and below pixs of slices of each. They were
all "off the chain good" in my humble opinion:

CAKE CUTTING TIME AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG
After
everyone finished with their buffet meal, it was time to get the candles lit
on the cake and sing Happy Birthday to Xander after he blew out the candles.
Xander and everyone enjoyed a piece of his birthday cake, but I passed up on
the cake since I consumed a couple pieces of dessert Cinnamon Stromboli at the end of
my regular pizza.
We had a great time and the Lord willing, hope to enjoy
many more birthdays with our Children and Grand kids.
NOTE:
Pizza Inn at Rockingham, NC is our favorite pizza place and we try and make
our monthly pilgrimage to enjoy their all day buffet which is fantastic!
